PolarDA
This is a Strategy Game
Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did
not run on a b/w 68030 processor running under System
7.1, so try this one only on Macintoshes running under
System 6. No guarantee.
1 : The penguin. This is you, and is controlled by clicking
mouse. There are invisible lines which divide entire
screen into four regions. The cursor will change according
to the relative position to you. It will take one extra
click to make yourself turn into the direction you
want, or push an object. One simple diagram will help
in understanding this.
2 : Trees. Don't ask why you have trees where you have
penguins and ice-cubes around. They are there because
The Sprier Being ( ME ) wanted them there. You can
go through trees, but nothing else can.
3 : Mountains. Have you ever tried to move mountains?
If you have, don't even try again. How about climbing
them? No, remember you are in a frictionless world.
Instead, you flatten them.
4 : Houses. This is your home!! Moving it? Forget it.
YOU will have to bring all the hearts back here.
5 : Ice-Cubes. This is an ice-cube. Well, there is
not much to it except the fact the you can get rid
of it by pushing it against something.
6 : Hearts. Guess what to do with them!!.
7 : Bombs. The bomb is automatically ignited when it
hits the mountain. As common sense says, bomb will
be gone after that.
